2023 Severance 5k and 1 Mile

The Severance Chamber of Commerce is hosting our first-ever 5k Color Run/Walk! This is a family-friendly run/walk that will take place at Severance Community Park with an Easter Egg Hunt (FREE EVENT) following shortly after and hosted by Calvary Severance Church! Strollers are welcome – this race is for all ages!
Registration/Check-in Opens at 10:30 am; to check in for the Mile Race – you can also check in at 10:30 am, but please arrive no later than 11:45 am
The 5k race Starts at 11:30 am
5K Award Ceremony Starts at 12:30 pm – 1st; 2nd and 3rd Place
Course Closed at 1:30 pm

The course is on paved roads going through some of the unpaved Great Western trail and a loop around the Severance High School Parking lot with multiple color stations along the way out and those same stations on the way back. There will also be an aid station at the turnaround with a special treat and water awaiting you. Volunteers will be located throughout the course to guide you, cross any major intersection, and throw color at you, so be sure to High Five them and tell them “Thanks”. Events like this would not exist without our volunteers. The course will close at 1:30 pm, and the Easter Egg Hunt (FREE EVENT), hosted by Calvary Severance Church, will begin promptly at 2 pm.
The start will begin and end at Severance Community Park.

**ALL MINORS under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
All participants who register prior to March 29th will be guaranteed a shirt and swag bag, as supply is limited.
