SUMMARY:2023 Severance 5k and 1 Mile
DESCRIPTION:The Severance Chamber of Commerce is hosting our first-ever 5k Color Run/Walk! This is a family-friendly run/walk that will take place at Severance Community Park with an Easter Egg Hunt (FREE EVENT) following shortly after and hosted by Calvary Severance Church! Strollers are welcome – this race is for all ages! \nRegistration/Check-in Opens at 10:30 am; to check in for the Mile Race – you can also check in at 10:30 am\, but please arrive no later than 11:45 am\nThe 5k race Starts at 11:30 am\n5K Award Ceremony Starts at 12:30 pm – 1st; 2nd and 3rd Place\nCourse Closed at 1:30 pm\n1Mile race starts at 12:30\n1Mile Award Ceremony Starts at 1:30 pm – 1st; 2nd and 3rd Place \nThe course is on paved roads going through some of the unpaved Great Western trail and a loop around the Severance High School Parking lot with multiple color stations along the way out and those same stations on the way back. There will also be an aid station at the turnaround with a special treat and water awaiting you. Volunteers will be located throughout the course to guide you\, cross any major intersection\, and throw color at you\, so be sure to High Five them and tell them “Thanks”. Events like this would not exist without our volunteers. The course will close at 1:30 pm\, and the Easter Egg Hunt (FREE EVENT)\, hosted by Calvary Severance Church\, will begin promptly at 2 pm. \nThe start will begin and end at Severance Community Park. \n5K Color Run – $25\nKids 1Mile Color Run $10 \n**ALL MINORS under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult. \nAll participants who register prior to March 29th will be guaranteed a shirt and swag bag\, as supply is limited.\n \nDay of Registration: \n5K Color Run – $25 \nKids 1 Mile Color Run -$10 \nSwag bag and shirt if available. \n“Extras” will be for sale the day of until supplies run out \nNo Refunds or Transfers. \nNo early packet pickup is available. \n**Please do not bring pets
